The ability to manage a project from conception to implementation is an important skill for managers and front line staff. This one-day workshop focuses on the role of the project manager and provides skills to assist in clarifying the purpose, and prioritizing the objectives of a project in order to obtain commitment from the team. Topics such as developing a management plan, describing approaches for successful delegation of responsibility and authority, and creating a motivating environment will be covered. Participants will use current projects as case studies for applying tools that promote efficiency and cost effectiveness.
