Customer satisfaction, integrated service delivery, quality of service, measurable outcomes, and accountability are the new benchmarks against which programs and services are evaluated. Effective collaborative planning is critical to ensuring success in meeting these objectives. Policy makers, administrators, planners, and front-line staff must be involved in the planning process, not only within the organization, but also in concert with other organizations. Individuals attending this one-day workshop will learn how to contribute to both their agency's planning process and joint interagency planning efforts. Participants will learn to utilize a systematic method for collaborative planning, establish a planning process, identify techniques for customer oriented planning, identify costs associated with implementing a plan, and understand techniques for leveraging resources.
