This two-day workshop will provide basic information on group dynamics, how to use group interaction to increase participative learning, and how to deal with some types of challenging trainees and group situations. Participants will have multiple opportunities to facilitate group discussions, exercises, and activities, and put specific strategies into practice. In addition, participants will receive feedback from the instructor and other trainees on the success of their applications. Participants will learn to identify facilitator behaviors, attitudes, and skills to build rapport with the training group. Addresses NAWDP CWDP competency: Interpersonal Relations
