Job Search on the Internet

Working with the Internet as a tool in the job search process can be frustrating for both the counselor and the job seeker. With the amount of information out there it is often difficult to find the best resources and services for customers and clients. Participants will learn to navigate the Internet effectively and identify job resources and employer information. Specifics of the on-line job search will also be discussed, including evaluation methods and how to prepare a resume for the Internet.

Prerequisite: Some understanding of Internet basics, including e-mail operations as well as a basic knowledge of the Windows or Windows 95 operating system is required.
