This workshop helps the workforce service practitioner and those anticipating taking the Professional Résumé Writers Certification program offered by The Institute to take their skills to a higher level.
Résumés styles and design take on a different form for this level of candidate. Candidates with involved and technical backgrounds require subtle but effective writing. Today's résumé designs are created to marquee the candidates' skills, education, experience and knowledge (SEEK). Those attending this program will learn how to assess candidates' backgrounds, how to "youthenize" a candidate's background and create the short story marketing résumé document.
Participants in this workshop should bring in résumé samples they have written and will participate in a résumé review process that can be used as part of their customer service programs. Problematic résumés are welcome!
This workshop is a definite must if you anticipate testing for the Certified Professional Résumé Writers certification sponsored by the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches.
