Hank Wheeler
Hank Wheeler is an independent consultant, trainer and motivational speaker, with a strong background in management, training, and consulting. Hank has delivered services to a wide range of organizations, from small businesses to Fortune Five Hundred companies. He presently conducts training programs in Total Quality Management, Customer Service Team, Development, Time Management, Creative Problem Solving, Facilitation, Leadership, and Coaching and Counseling. Hank also delivers training for Hagerstown, Howard, and Frederick community colleges.
A certified Zenger-Miller (Achieve Global) Organizational Development Master Trainer, Hank also was recently identified and trained by the Tom Peters Organization to deliver their brand of training in leadership and project management. He is certified to deliver training for Zig Ziglar Education Systems and is also a certified Process Improvement Facilitator in the Richard Chang Methodology.
Earlier in his career, Hank was employed by Black & Decker, Inc. where he was responsible for developing training curriculum and team development plans, and delivering those programs to over 4000 associates of all levels. He has been a presenter and session leader at National Team Development Conferences. In November 1998, Hank was a presenter at the First USA - China Quality Conference in Beijing, China, delivering a paper on customer service.
Hank learned Business Administration at Adelphi University on Long Island and obtained his Masters Degree in Organizational Development at Towson University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Management at the Center for Study of Work Teams of North Texas University. A Carroll County Maryland resident for over 20 years, Hank spends his free time with Denise, his best friend and wife of 30 years, and Erica their twenty-five year-old daughter. Hank enjoys golf and has been a longtime Civil War Reenactor.
